Baked Brussels


Sometimes steamed veggies can get a little boring. Don't get me wrong though, it's still one of the most nutritious methods for extracting as many of the vitamins and minerals as possible without damaging the product.

If you're looking to amp up the taste levels then give these Baked Brussles a go!

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 cups brussel sprouts - you can use way more and pop them away for later

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • Pink salt and pepper as you like

Method:

  1. Put your oven on 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. As the oven heats, place all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix together so that each one of the brussel sprouts are coating in the seasoning mixture.

  3. Lay the out on the tray and place in the oven for 20 minutes.

  4. Keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.
